Solang Valley – Solang Nala (Valley) a unique experience that every visitor cherishes. This is also a base camp for skiers, trekkers, climbers and campers hence this place is full of activity both in summers and winters. A vast snow field and the best slopes, that is safe and secure for both learning and experienced skiers. Solang Nala houses the Hanuman Tibba massif that is nearly 20,000 feet, its 8 km long glacier giving birth to river Beas. In the later 70’s Solang Nala was proposed as a possible UNESCO biosphere reserve under the UNESCO project on Man and Biosphere.

The forest in Dandeli is a typical moist deciduous and semi evergreen type, with pockets of ever green.

KP- Pushpagiri WLS – Covering an area of 102.59 sq kms Pushpagiri WLS is indeed a very popular trek route. The trail takes goes through rich forest cover and some rocky patches. With a good amount of water source easy access by road many trekkers use this trail to reach the peak of KP, which is otherwise a tough trek from Kukke side. Pushpagiri WLS is also been proposed as a World Heritage site. Rich Kadamakkal Reserve Forest is a part of the WLS and adjoins Bisle Reserve Forest to north, Kukke Subramanya Forest to the west.

Ramanagaram - Ramanagaram is not just synonymous with the super hit movie Sholay and is also called the Rock Climber’s Mecca. Situated on the banks of the river Arkavati, this place is more than 1000 mts. It spans over 4-5 kms in radius and encompasses seven major hills, many hillocks and large boulders.  A weekend or a holiday would mean that you get to see the rock climbers of Bangalore doing what they do best, climbing those magnificent rock faces and enjoying the aura of the place. The splendid landscape surroundings the hill is picture perfect and gives enough scenery to lens man/woman to click around.  Every shot and every frame can redefine the way one feels about the rocks. Ramanagaram has great history.  The name Ramanagaram was officially given in 1949 and originates from the village Ramagiri on the foot hill of Ramadevarabetta (hill of lord Rama).

Kudremukh Peak R2 - Kudremukh National Park is declared as a Tiger Reserve under Bhadra Tiger Sanctuary, The Kudremukh NP gets its name from the beautiful Peak of Kudremukh (Kudremukha meaning House Face as it appears so). Covering an area 600.32 sq kms it is the second largest declared ‘Wildlife Protected Area’ of a tropical wet evergreen type of forest in the Western Ghats. With an annual rainfall of over 4000 mm the forest is ever green and offers a great trekking opportunity post-monsoon season. The rivers Nethravati, Tunga and Bhadra are believed to originate here at Ganga Moola which is part of the NP.

Bilikallu Rangaswamy Betta - Bilikallu Rangaswamy Betta is located in Bangalore Rural district southwest direction of Bangalore city. It is one of the highest hills in the area and also called as Bilikal Betta due to the whitish rocks near the summit that is visible from a long distance. The vegetation is quite thick especially post monsoon season. The adjoining forests are known to harbor Elephants and other wildlife. The view from the top is very picturesque as one can see the hillocks from the surrounding Kanakapura range, mainly BM Betta, Kabbaladurga and Savandurga.

Mullayanagiri Bababudangiri Kallathagiri Falls - Hills are heaven on earth in the Western Ghats. Mulliyanagiri is the highest peak in the Baba Budangiri Range, is the highest peak between the Himalayas and the Nilgiris. Baba Budangiri is a mountain in the Dattagiri Hill Range / Baba Budan Giri Range of the Western Ghats of India. Peaks in Baba Budan Giri Range are the Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri, and are known as 'Chandradrona Parvatha Shreni' (Chandradrona Mountain Range) as they naturally form the shape of a crescent moon.

Devarabetta – Has 2 hillocks with a temple at the top of one of them, with a good number of opportunities for a Rock Climbing, one monolith is around 80-90 Ft and fairly easy climbs. To the west and north of Devarabetta is the jungle with the vegetation similar to Bannerghatta forest. The terrain consists of low hills with the valleys having thick vegetation. The forest continues as far as Rangaswami hills in the west to Bannerghatta reserve in the north. There are also a few waterholes which provide opportunities for watching the local wildlife.

Savandurga - History refers to Savandurga as ‘Savinadurga’ or ‘Fort of Death’, as there were no steps to reach the hill top and it was covered by bamboos, other trees forming a barricade. Rising to an altitude of 1226 mts, it is the largest Monolith in the world. Savandurga hills form a part of the Deccan Plateau and comprise of peninsular gneiss, laterites, basic dykes and granites. It consists of two hills, namely Karigudda (black hill) and Billigudda (white hill). These hills are very popular amongst Rock Climbers, Cave Explorers and Adventurer seekers.
